The Water Machine vs Aquasana: Which one is the best for 2021?

If you want clean water for your home, unless you are lucky enough to live in an area with no contamination of your water supply, you will need to purchase an in-home water purification system. There are several products on the market for cleaning water. However, most are filters, not water purifiers. If you make the mistake of purchasing a system that does a poor job of removing contaminants from your drinking water, then you create a significant health risk for your family, and waste your money at the same time. Taking the time to evaluate these products thoroughly will help you make a strong decision and avoid trouble down the road.

The Water Machine is a state-of-the-art water purification system that you can purchase for your home. WIth it, you will enjoy water that is far more safe to drink than what you will pour from a water filtration system.

Today, we compare The Water Machine and the Claryum Countertop system made by Aquasana. After reviewing the facts, we are confident that you will come to the same conclusion that we have: The Water Machine beats Aquasana in both price and effectiveness!

The Water Machine vs. Aquasana: Which one Cleans your Water better?

Aquasana provides data for its countertop filtration systems on its website. For this product comparison, we chose their Claryum Countertop system because it most resembles The Water Machine with respect to utility. All of Aquasana’s countertop systems use the same filter. For this side-by-side comparison, we took the data for the two products and listed it here.

n/a - Manufacturer provided no percentage for what portion was removed

* The Water Machine reduced chemicals in these categories to undetectable levels. Although some of them were specifically tested for, none were found.

The Results

To make sense of these numbers, we must look closely at the category titles, not so much the individual contaminants. Aquasana does indeed remove contaminants, and lists about 77 of them. However, they fall into only a couple of categories.

Toxins

The majority of contaminants named by Aquasana fall under two categories:

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and pesticides. Both are potent toxins. Many of the contaminants listed on Aquasana’s website are no longer in use, and some have been discontinued decades ago. Also, many of the toxins have similar chemical compositions. As such, one can expect that if either product can remove one compound, it will likely remove similar compounds with about the same efficiency.

Another way to say this is that Aquasana can “pad its stats” by coming up with a long list of chemicals, which looks impressive at first glance. However, there are other toxic materials which are not listed. What about aluminum and copper? Arsenic and iron? Removing heavy metals is a key reason for buying a filtration system. So is removing fluoride. However, Aquasana specifically tells us on its website that “All contaminants removed by this filter are listed.” And fluoride is not listed. Isn’t fluoride one of the most common contaminants? And one of the most dangerous when consumed over the long term?

The Water Machine removes entire categories of chemicals from your drinking water. It will eliminate petroleum products, pesticides, VOCs, pharmaceuticals, chloramines, trihalomethanes, and others, reducing them to undetectable levels. Consumer-grade products simply don’t have the capacity to purify water to this standard. Aquasana does remove its share of chemicals. However, The Water Machine removes the same chemicals at a higher percentage, and many others as well. Aquasana does filter drinking water, but it falls way short of the standard set by The Water Machine in this side-by-side comparison.

Microbes

On first inspection, Aquasana might seem to have a leg up on The Water Machine, because it filters microbial cysts, a category that The Water Machine has no data for. But consider: The Water Machine removes 99.999% of all viruses, which are about 1/100 the size of the most common microbial cysts. Also remember: Aquasana names two species of microbial cyst (Giardia and Cryptosporidium) that it filters out. These cysts vary in size from 4-10 microns, making them about the same size as common bacteria. The Water Machine removes 99.9999999% of all bacteria, so you can expect that it will remove microbial cysts as well.

On the other hand, although Aquasana boasts that it can filter out 99.95% of two species of microbial cyst, it makes no claims removing bacteria or viruses. Think about that! Do you want a purification system that removes 99.9999999% of bacteria from your water, and 99.999% of viruses? Or would you rather have a filter that makes no claim about how many of each microbe it can remove? Why pay for a filtration system if it can’t protect you from bacteria?

So, Which Product filters water Better?

The Water Machine removes bacteria, viruses, pesticides, VOCs, heavy metals, chlorine, and so much more. Isn’t it worth your peace of mind to invest in a product that actually does what you are acquiring it to do? When you look at this long list of contaminants, one product stands out as superior - the one that protects your health.

That product is The Water Machine!

Models and Costs

Cost Comparison: The Water Machine vs. Aquasana

The Water Machine

The Water Machine $299.99

Replacement Filters     74.99

Aquasana

Claryum Countertop system   $64.99

Replacement Filters (1 pair)     59.99

For an accurate comparison, we need to know how long these filters last:

The Water Machine dual filter 6000 Gallons (approx. 11 years)*

Aquasana’s Claryum dual filter   300 Gallons (approx. 6 months)*

* assumes that owner(s) use 1.5 gallons/day

Okay, now let's do a little math to see how many filters we need to buy.

When you purchase The Water Machine, your purchase includes a pair of carbon filters that last approximately 11 years. That’s 6000 gallons of drinking water before you have to buy any replacement filters! You will have to perform some minor maintenance once in a while. But that will not cost you anything!

By contrast, you will need to change Aquasana’s filter set every six months. The Claryum Countertop system comes with one set of filters. But to get to 11 years of use, this is what your shopping cart will look like:

Aquasana’s Claryum Countertop     $64.99

Replacement filters (21 @ $59.99 each) $1259.79

TL $1324.78

By comparison, The Water Machine looks like this:

The Water Machine (includes 1 set of filters)   $299.99

Do you realize what this means? To get the same amount of use from your Aquasana filtration system, you’ll need to buy 21 extra filter sets, which will cost an additional $1024.79 !!!

When you purchase The Water Machine, you’re saving all that money!

Remember, with The Water Machine, you are not just saving over $1000, you are enjoying a much higher standard of water purification. If your goal is to save money while providing clean water for your household, there is one clear choice: Buy The Water Machine and don’t look back!

Pros and Cons

Aquasana

Aquasana has provided a product which is affordable and easy to use. Its filters last for six months, and during that time, you know that the product will remove certain potent toxins at a high percentage. However, there are certain toxins which can get through the filter at significant levels. Over the long term, Aquasana’s products are expensive, as you will have to spend $60 every six months on a new replacement filter set. Ultimately, Aquasana’s Claryum Countertop system (and those like it) fall short of providing the quality drinking water you deserve for maintaining long-term health.

The Water Machine

The Water Machine outshines Aquasana both with respect to performance and cost. Although there is an initial outlay of $299.99, you will save money after three years, as consumers who purchase Aquasana will still have to spend money on replacement filters. The Water Machine purifies your tap water at a much higher standard than Aquasana does, protecting the health of you and your loved ones. And The Water Machine is basically two glass chambers, fed by gravity, with no moving parts. Other than washing off the filters every few months and replacing them, there is no maintenance. It’s super easy to use!

Which should I buy? Aquasana or The Water Machine?

The results are in! The Water Machine beats Aquasana hands down! If you are looking for a product that can provide water for your household that is free from bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, and toxins, you won’t find a more effective product on the market! It’s time for you and your family to enjoy the quality of life that you deserve. Call our headquarters today and order The Water Machine!
